Simply put, muscle testing
is a biofeedback. It is an easy and effective way of getting feedback
from the bodymind on how we are doing mentally, emotionally or
physically. It can be seen as simple interview tool that gives us access
to information.
How does it work?
When
the body is compromised or confronted with a stressor, its energy
circuits are temporarily disrupted and our muscles can't hold strong -
even when the mind is involved. Under stress, our nervous system is
compromised and that is reflected in our muscles. When we are doing
something enjoyable, our nervous system is resilient and that too is reflected in our muscles.
