Focus on Now :)

As  DharmaComics admits, sometimes it can be hard to know where to focus.

Adjust the mess :  select what is important /needed, put into groups if neccessary:
  • Personal life
  • energizing activities
  • work
  • creative activity
It this is done, you  can easily find the golden middle way.
Leave the rest.
Use the power of Now!

This can be a new plan for the incoming years:
Laugh as much as you breathe
and love as long as you live.

How you treat yourself? (Jessica Ortner)

„You can’t hate yourself happy.
You can’t criticize yourself thin.
You can’t shame yourself wealthy.
Real change begins with self love and self care.”

Is there something 'wrong' with everything ?

For more pls click here!

No matter what you are looking at, you can
find something wrong with it, something imperfect,
something that is not okay with you. Don't worry,
if you look hard enough you'll find it.

There is also something 'right' with everything.
No matter what you are looking at,
you can find something right with it,
something perfect.

There remains, then, only one question:
What are you going to look at? What are you
choosing to notice? What is your perspective?
(I'll bet you already know what God's perspective is...)

Realism (JACK CANFIELD)

You create everything that happens to you.... If you want to be really successful, and I know you do, then you will have to give up blaming and complaining and take total responsibility for your life--that means all your results, both your successes and your failures. That is the prerequisite for creating a life of success. It is only by acknowledging that you have created everything up until now that you can take charge of creating the future you want.

ASK THE LIGHT FOR HELP

Sometimes students will come to me with issues or obstacles they are facing, and tell me they have tried everything. They have looked at every angle, exhausted every route trying to find a solution, and still they cannot overcome.

In these instances, many times the one thing they have forgotten is asking the Light for help.

It’s a step most of us miss because it seems too simple to really work, but it’s in the humility of knowing the solutions come from the Creator, and not from ourselves, that we can find the answers to our problems.

It might not take a lot of physical effort, but asking the Light for help is one of the most proactive things we can do.

Watch your thoughts!

"Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny."

The truth

The truth was a mirror in the hands of God. It fell, and broke into pieces. Everybody took a piece of it, and they looked at it and thought they had the truth.

A thought (Byron Katie)

"A thought is harmless until we believe it. It’s not our thoughts but our attachment to our thoughts that causes suffering."
